Start with wheel balance and tyre condition — that is the answer most of the time and it is the cheapest to check. If a fresh balance does not cure it, look at worn drop links, anti-roll bar bushes and, in particular, the inner CV joint on the driveshaft, which is a recognised cause of a steady wobble that appears at motorway speed and nowhere else.
